Your only routine shouldn't JUST be skin care, but that's definitely part of it! Cheryl Pierce is the founder and CEO of Skinworx and is not only driving you toward a good skin care routine, but also toward healthy routines in all areas of life to proactively avoid getting burnt out.

Who is Cheryl?

All of us seem to understand the connection between beauty and confidence intuitively. However did you know that in today’s fast paced society only 2% of women rate themselves as naturally gorgeous without makeup and over 50% of women don’t feel confident making eye contact without sufficient makeup (source: skinstore.com).

Skin issues, such as acne, wrinkles and discoloration are the most common concerns of people today. While these may seem like minor problems, skin issues can lead to major depression, social with drawl, anger, lack of confidence and more. According to Psychology Today, American adults with psoriasis are 3 times more to have suicidal thoughts and adults with acne have higher rates of unemployment then then general population. These numbers are completely breathtaking.

Cheryl Pierce, the founder and CEO of Skinworx saw these issues first hand as a wound care nurse. When she realized the tremendous impact that beauty has on self-esteem and confidence, she opened up Skinworx, a medical spa and skincare store and made it her mission to help women find their confidence and, ultimately, unlock their full potential.

The latest addition to the full-service spa services, are confidence boosting retreats. Hosted by Cheryl, the focus is onto helping women align their outer and inner beauty through a combination of meditation, personal growth work and related treatments.

What is feeling Successful?

A balance in every area of my life. Having money is part of it, for sure. But it's being able to do what you want, when you want, with whoever you want!

That's success.

What is feeling Burnt Out?

Feeling miserable.

It's not getting enough sleep, not eating the right foods, and just exhausted.

The Burnt Out Experience Cheryl's Story

When she first had her baby, Cheryl really went through a lot. She admitted that she stopped at one child because of the burnout associated with becoming the mother of an extremely colicky baby... "Talk about sleep deprivation."

It was one straight year of not enough sleep and trying to figure out parenthood on her own.

Advice for you Routine

You have GOT to have routine in your life.

Just like you'd have to train your baby to have a daily routine, you need to train yourself to have routines. You have to have a set times for yourself to sleep, work, play, learn, all of it. How we do something, is how we do everything. So if you have poor personal routine, you're going to end up with poor professional routines, etc.

Create for yourself and follow healthy routines to maximize your capacity for passion and drive, but also to proactively avoid getting burnt out.
