This one was the first podcast I did live in front of an audience and not gonna lie, I was pretty nervous.

I was pacing a little, and a couple times I got away from the crowd just to breathe and relax. Things felt pretty good after we pressed record and started though.

The venue was South Hills Country Club and it was for my church's (Freedom Life Center) Men's Breakfast. I think a little over 70 people showed up!

This episode meant a lot to me not only because it was a live interview but because we did it in front of many of my close friends/family. Big thanks to them for coming out and supporting.

So who's the guy I interviewed?

His name is Craig Wolfley and played Offensive line for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1980-1989 and Minnesota Vikings from 1990-1991. In 2000 he was named to the Steelers All Century Team and has competed in martial arts, boxing, sumo wrestling and weight lifting.

Currently, Craig works for the Steelers as a part of the gamely broadcast team and co-hosts a radio show on 970AM ESPN Pittsburgh. He is also a blogger and podcast host which can be found at CraigWolfley.com.

Craig is just a great dude and awesome storyteller. He shares some good ones in the episode, so I hope you guys enjoy!

In this conversation we discuss:

  • Craig's fight with Butterbean
  • Best Chuck Noll Story
  • How Chuck changed Craig's Life
  • The importance of mentorship
  • Finding identity outside of football
  • Life as a Broadcaster
  • Success
