In this episode I go over my process for finding and researching properties online, to make a short list that I then want to go have a look at.
The sites I uses are:
Trade Me
This is usually my first site. I check here every day at all the new listings in Christchurch. I shortlist the ones I think could be interesting to me.
Christchurch City Council - Rates Information
Christchurch City Council - District Plan Information
These have data from The CCC on rates, values, section sizes, zones, and a lot of other free information.
Canterbury Maps
This has so much data and possibly more unknown than some of the others. Historic photos, zoning, school zones, wastewater & water plans etc
Property Valuation Sites
Homes.co.nz
QV
