Welcome back to the Chronically Healing Podcast! Today I’m speaking with a certified Ayurveda coach and yoga instructor, Irina Adriaensen. During our conversation we dive into burnout and how this led Irina to her purpose in life. We also chat a bit about my experience with burnout and how it shows up in each of our lives.

From there, we dive into the Ayurvedic types and how this teaching can help you on your healing journey. Ayurveda sees all people as completely unique instead of forcing you into a certain “lifestyle” that maybe won’t work for you.

I can’t wait for you to listen in to today’s episode, so let’s dive in!

In today’s episode we chat about:

  • Going from a marketing manager in the corporate world to an Ayurvedic practitioner

  • How burnout can show up in your life (plus personal stories from both Irina and Jessie)

  • How a yoga teacher training in India opened her up to a whole new world while on sabbatical from her job

  • Ayurveda and yoga are there to support your purpose in life

  • What is Ayurveda and how can you learn from it

  • What is an Ayurvedic type and how do you use that to create a better lifestyle for yourself

  • How Irina works with people while also creating balance in her own life
