A Clare Senator claims lawless behaviour could spiral out of control if a member of An Garda Siochána is convicted of dangerous driving after a pursuit which resulted in the deaths of three Dublin criminals. Tallaght based gang members Dean Maguire, Karl Freeman and Graham Taylor were killed instantly after driving on the wrong side of the N7 and colliding with a truck when fleeing the gardaí on July 7th 2021. Garda John Francis Ryan will now face trial at the circuit court on three counts of dangerous driving and of endangerment of life. Mountshannon Fianna Fáil Senator Timmy Dooley says it's an extremely dangerous precedent.
