I'm just an ordinary guy who was tired of the daily grind. I had 20 years in Law Enforcement and had seen enough ugly and death for 50 lifetimes. It was on a Wednesday I walked away from the badge. I'd never hiked a day in my life. It was the next day, Thursday that I flew to San Diego and on Friday I took my first steps on the Pacific Crest Trail. I was going to dare to "Live Out Loud". I was going to try to hike 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada. I wasn't ready for what was going to happen to me or the challenges I would soon face. Please follow the journey with me as I attempt the impossible. It was a most epic adventure.
