[0:56] Cody humpwhistle death.

[1:09] Deaths.

[1:20] Death.

[1:29] To somebody who I used to work with few jobs ago I stayed in touch with who died recently. Boys had a fascination boat. In association and idea associated with death so kind of wakes people up makes them realise what’s important.

[2:01] And I talk very very openly honestly, how much is a con well arguably too too much even in the household so when my son is 4 years old asks me about death. I basically just giving my Patel generally able to death of this friend and he’s gone. And son asks where where does he go they don’t know doesn’t come back. But I don’t believe in reincarnation so we don’t know return to the air in Innocence of the are the worms the Corpse eccetera blah blah and accents. Anime son asks will you gonna die.

[2:55] And I say yeah I’m gonna die so now die one day you can see you this the first time is ever really. Understood the concept of death and then here’s that. Stats Canada so it starts to get really teary at you actually start to flipping out a little bit but of a tantrum like now no no you won’t but I think.

[3:22] It’s important to be I don’t want to I don’t want I want I could see why the idea of religion is so powerful at this point where, you know I have pondered religion and I was a lot younger, still due to say to a certain extent but when I say to a certain extent mean like I listen to the Bates are now I’m not religious by any sense. Not be nice if there was a little happy place you go up to in the sky afterwards and meet with all the dead ones if I could believe in that I think it make life easier but I don’t. So I’m emerson’s asking me these questions I do believe in being honest and open. But honest I’m trying hide it but it did make me questions is 4 years old too young. But you know can you draw a line at truth for age or is it one of those things you don’t draw a line at at all and seems to be where I am at the moment. But then he asked when am I going to die is in himself and I just tried to like keep the tone casual and I didn’t want it to sound like sad or.

[4:50] You know that really bad so I was like yeah you’ll dice to son. Johnny Johnny just literally couldn’t comprehend and daughter was listening as well she’s a bit young misses 3 but she wasn’t it affecting her as much as she didn’t quite understand the concepts that have been discussed or she didn’t, I was on face that out now but some chocolate really bad then no Windows moments afterwards did. Cost me? About various things and I haven’t necessarily come to a conclusion.

[5:32] I haven’t come to a conclusion.

[5:47] I did actually do you know what water was on I went for a walk I just read this now and the podcast no 12:07 a walk I was pondering this. Come up with the story and it was a story you know what I’ve just made this up so it’s not going to be very clear. But it’s about a guy lives forever.

[6:17] Sport is in a box to nobody knows I exist, lives in a box but you can consume all the material we can consume so it says got access to the internet is good access the TV and that says been alive for a million years, so far he’s got back to stable to be consumed all the material and you know everything and he’s like a an old wise Gandhi or insert, you know idle in here you knows everything you sit down you speak to about you don’t but if if you did sit down speak to him every conversation you can wait thinking wow, wow that’s really thought provoking that’s that’s big. But you lives in a box so it doesn’t actually ever have interactions with people doesn’t get to share that conversation and the important part of the story as it will never be remembered, what is ideas and thoughts and never transcend that of others because he has not those conversations but he gets Live Forever. And then you’ve got a simple forget that a father has a relationship with his wife his son on his daughter and he does die that is only 70. And he doesn’t learn a fraction of that what candy Land.

[7:47] But you was able to communicate is love his carers ideas as thoughts to his children.

[7:54] And they can turn grow up to be in this hypothetical situation. Grow up to be loving caring parents of their own and they have children, and that the ID is the environment they were in the way they were cared for the person if they have become as somewhat been shaped by the experience with the father, is now dead start, what are the memories the ideas numeral is being passed down to the child ultimately, gifts that saying care of love to his children and the family that he has and the point I was trying to make is that. Alloway mortal. But that movement of information that those ideas that transcend the Generations they live on. And so loved you don’t get to live forever and be the guy in the box you do get her affect the people that were around.

[9:14] And the one in that sense, that’s that’s kind of without the story what I was trying to communicate it to my son it’s difficult obviously so young.

[9:36] I’ve got another Theory not knowledge as deep and emotional is that one but it’s whatever gets measured gets improved. The idea is forget about let’s take, weight loss as an example made mention this before I think I blogged about it recently so to the front of my mind don’t. When you setting up you wanna lose some money don’t start with going to restrict my calories and going to eat healthier don’t let that be the bar to entry. Start off with measurement just measure measure your weight everyday. Measure your waist everyday and take your clothes off and look at yourself and a full-size mirror everyday and have a good luck. Three three ways to measure yourself there and just do that for a month. And I bet you before the month is out.

[10:48] But simply taking those measurements of being honest with yourself you will naturally formulate the best possible system for weight loss.

[11:02] You’ll decide I’m going to do this I’m going to do that or you’ll end up on A4 and reading about this and that you’ll get there You’ll design something you’ll find the motivation and you’ll find the enthusiasm, the all comes from that measurement initially the point of the post and the point that im trying to make here, do you want to improve something anything in your life could be a career goal could be weight loss could be education on a particular area. Come up with rule of thumb three ways of measuring over the next month. Simple keep them simple don’t get your complexion when I do it three simple measurements you don’t come up with one come up with one in colour to Great three wouldn’t go any more than 3 measure for a month, not process of measurement she it will happen. Want of a better word I don’t believe and all this nonsense for the universe your mind, dialogue will begin to happen and you’ll start to see the way and how you take the next steps to improve that and it’ll just happen without any effort as long as you’re taking the measurements.

[12:20] The final thing can wrap up on today just another blog post that spoke to him, actor feels if I spoke about this last week or actually I did think about talk about it when I was writing the article was published now but it’s fine to reiterate I’ll just do a quickly.

[12:41] You may have to do list application you may have shitload of stuff that you need to get done today, whatever context let you say it’s written down or you’ve got the less than we don’t hold things in your head that you’ve got to get shit on PayPal or in the app or something.

[13:00] That is that rule number one that’s not what I’m talking about now because if you try and hold all that shit in your head you just going to get stressed, and you going to be miserable because the brain is not built for cache not built for cache in a lot of stuff in your mind, but that space needs to be free to work on active problems so all these things that you need to do it whether or not it be a daily to-do list or just you need to book your car in for an MOT needs to be done next month as well get it written down, design your own system for that, listen to I’m sure spoken about it previously did the point that mate into making today is you need a system for prioritisation, not prioritise ancient you need a system I clearly defined system that tells you what the next one thing is you working on forget about everything else, as long as you know the next one thing you’ll never feel overwhelmed I’m not going to go on about it I feel as if I’ve already discussed it you wanna, no more about it listen to a previous episode or go to blog. Humpwhistle. Comm and read the one that’s cool down now he’s out focusing thanks the title.

[14:18] Not a I’m going to wrap up you can Twitter find me over at. Cody humpwhistle you can read that mean the same kodi on voice so you can visit the blogger blogs on humpwhistle. Comm. We can do none of those things death. Wickes is up to what’s important sometimes it’s best not waiting. Does best sit down have a serious conversation with yourself.

[15:02] So what time that you’re spending doing this and now truly important think about the pictures.

[15:14] Peace out.
