I denne episode skal vi se nærmere på brugen af agentbaserede modeller i naturfagsundervisningen i gymnasiet, hvor de blandt meget andet bliver brugt til at vise, hvordan cellemembraner og klimaet fungerer.

Fokus er især på den såkaldte CMC-tilgang, der sætter Code, Modelling og Content i en slags dynamisk sammenspil, så eleverne både lærer noget om kode, om hvordan modeller fungerer, og - naturligvis - om det faglige indhold.

Det handler om at skabe et balanceret flow mellem det faglige indhold, en model af et fænomen, og så koden bag modellen, som lærere og elever kan tilpasse og omprogrammere.

Samtidig åbner brugen af modellerne også for nye typer af dialog og samarbejde mellem både lærere og elever.

I episoden medvirker Line Have Musaeus og Keld Nielsen fra Aarhus Universitet, Solveig Skadhauge fra Nærum Gymnasium og Eigil Dixen, pensioneret rektor for Egaa Gymnasium.
