He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and his work combines cognitive science, philosophy of mind, phenomenology, and cross-cultural philosophy, especially Asian philosophical traditions. His most recent books include “Why I Am Not A Buddhist” and “Waking, Dreaming, Being”.
