For my 4th episode I have invited Kit Carruthers, the Founder, Owner and Managing Director of Ninefold Distillery in Dalton, Dumfries and Galloway to share his personal story. Kit is kind, talented and very intelligent, and he also doesn’t mind speaking openly about his lifelong learning process. The conversation is very open, very honest and at times maybe even a bit bold. In this episode Kit shares how the idea of creating a rum distillery came about, what it means to be a small business owner, especially in Covid19 times, we talk about his passion for sustainability and the steps he and his family are taking to become more sustainable and we also deep-dive in Kit’s experiences with both, physical and mental health.
