This week we are talking about FURNITURE!
But first, our craft challenge reveal from last week... we have made The Sweet Trees a needle felted thank you gift, for our fabulous jingle!
After a week without it, we get back to spinning our topic wheel and land on furniture! Daisy reminisces about Lou Lou's stencilling stage back in the 90's. We talk upcycling furniture, and the choice to prep and plan. Daisy fawns over Kookie Wood 's furniture designs (she is well worth a look!). We discuss our attempts at painting, upholstering, tiling, adding beading and trim to existing furniture, and even a dabble in making our own furniture from scratch. We talk about our feelings on built in furniture vs. freestanding items. Finally we jump into planning our next craft challenge, and Lou Lou is VERY excited to being going up into her roof....
