Traumatic events can keep us stuck from living the life we desire. Often we don't recognize our own trauma responses in order to experience freedom and healing.

In today's episode, my friend and trauma expert Sharon Wegman, shares the importance of becoming trauma informed, and understanding how traumatic experiences impact on your emotional, mental and physical health, and relationships. Most importantly, how to create a path toward recovery.

Sharon is the owner of Wellsprings Solutions, a faith-based counseling center focusing on healing the body, soul, and spirit. Sharon owns a coaching business called The Trauma-Informed Ministry. She has a heart for equipping leaders to become trauma-informed as they work on their own healing journey so they can be more effective in ministering to the people they serve.

Tune in as Sharon shares her expertise to help you identify and explore those issues that hinder you from having a healthy life related to your home, family, career and relationships.

We discuss:

  • What is trauma and how it affects our health and relationships
  • How to recognize and manage our own trauma responses
  • Strategies to heal from traumatic experiences and manage triggers
  • Implementing trauma-informed self care
  • Why leaders especially need this training

We are both on mission to help equip you with the insights and tools you need to move beyond old, limiting beliefs and reach your full potential.
