Spoilers: The real monsters were the humans all along! Zombies have been elevated in the pop mythos as representations of mindless consumerism, groupthink and our own mortality. And that all spawned from a little indie movie created by George A. Romero in 1968 called "Night of the Living Dead"! And we thank him immensely for it! Because what would we be if we didn't have this rotting mirror to hold up to society? Huzzah!
