39:36About Gaby Casadesus Born Gabrielle l'HĆ“te, she studied at the Paris Conservatory with Louis DiĆ©mer and Marguerite Long and was awarded the first prize in piano at age 16. She met Claude Debussy at this time, as he was the judge for one of her competitions. Gaby later won the Prix PagĆØs, which was the most prestigious award in France at the time for which women were eligible. In 1921, she married the pianist Robert Casadesus and with him formed the Robert and Gaby Casadesus duo. The duo made many recordings of the four-hand piano repertoire. However, Gaby was also a significant soloist. She knew Maurice Ravel, Gabriel FaurĆ©, Florent Schmitt and Moritz Moszkowski, and her interpretations were aided by their guidance. Her repertoire also included Felix Mendelssohn, whose music she effectively championed, and the keyboard composers of the Baroque era. As a teacher, Gaby Casadesus taught in the US, at the Salzburg Mozarteum, at the AcadĆ©mie Maurice Ravel in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and most notably at the American Conservatoire at Fontainebleau. Among her notable pupils are Donna Amato, David Deveau, Rudy Toth, and Vladimir ValjareviÄ. After her husband's death in 1972, she worked with Grant Johannesen and Odette ValabrĆØgue Wurtzburger, to found the Robert Casadesus International Piano Competition which ran from 1975 to 1993. Casadesus died November 12, 1999, at age 98 in Paris. She is buried with her husband and son, Jean in Recloses, department of Seine-et-Marne. About Therese link to buy book -- https://www.amazon.com/Robert-Gaby-Casadesus-Piano-Recital/dp/B00000DSHB Casadesus Rawson Daughter of the late French pianists Robert and Gaby Casadesus, Therese Casadesus Rawson received a Ph.D. in French language and literature from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977. She has taught French, Humanities, French Diction and French vocal repertoire to singers at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia for nearly 30 years. Besides teaching and performingāshe is a soprano focusing on Bach and French repertoire--Therese Casadesus Rawson is also active as a lecturer in a variety of topics pertaining to French culture, music, literature, painting, culinary arts. She has been and continues to be involved with French or Franco-American cultural institutions. She was President of the Alliance FranƧaise de Philadelphie for nearly 10 years, and has been President of the Fontainebleau Associations for 25 years: the stateside support group which helps organize and finance the summer Music and Fine Arts program at the ChĆ¢teau de Fontainebleau. Thereseās involvement with the Fontainebleau Schools is steeped in the legacy of her famous parents, Robert and Gaby, and her brother Jean, who were themselves devoted to the Fontainebleau Schools, teaching extensively at the Conservatoire AmĆ©ricain (the music side of the program). Remarkably, Robert and Gaby succeeded in running the program in New England during World War II and Gaby continued to teach until her passing in 1999 at the age of 98. The French Government awarded Therese the Palmes AcadĆ©miques in recognition of her teaching activities, and, in 2001, she was named to the rank of Chevalier des Arts et Lettres on account of her efforts on behalf of Franco-American cultural affairs. Through his music, Blacq Prodigal welcomes listeners to the church community and the fulfillment of having a true connection with God. Hailing from Punta Gorda, Florida, Blacq Prodigal delivers thoughtful, soul-awakening ballads for all to enjoy. His talents reach beyond singing into the realm of songwriting, production, and business management. A producer and owner of his production company, Church Boy Ent., Blacq Prodigal is no stranger to working hard for a cause he believes in. āEveryone has different talents and gifts,ā shares Blacq Prodigal. āI let my team use their talents in the best way they can.ā Alongside the musicians under his wing, Blacq Prodigal connects churches and events with musicians to enable people to praise and worship anywhere. Blacq Prodigalās music is not only a lifelong passion but also his calling. āI was born into music like I was born into church,ā shares Blacq Prodigal. āMy mom sang, and my dad was a musician. Both are pastors at our church. I taught myself to play drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, and piano just by being in church all the time. My father moved me around learning all the instruments.ā Despite mastery of many instruments, Blacq Prodigal lets the message lead the way in his songwriting. His approach to writing always begins with the lyrics. Empowered with both written and musical talent, Blacq Prodigal finds that music flows naturally once the words are on the page. Through every song, he seeks to remain authentic to a higher calling. āI write words because itās a personal conversation with God,ā shares Blacq Prodigal. āMy music is a message thatās given to me.ā āTo me, itās a love ballad to God,ā Blacq Prodigal explains. āHow Iām thankful for all the things heās doneāgood or bad. Itās always been a learning experience. Heāll bring me through those experiences by living life.ā Blacq Prodigal wants listeners to know that being in love with God isnāt a bad thing. āIām thankful for what heās done,ā explains the artist. āPeople want him to do something for them. Iām thankful for what heās already done.ā The single is a ballad focusing on the entire relationship with God. His words both guide listeners to another way of life and reflect on his own experiences. Working with Tiffany Andrews, the featured artist on his single, was āa dream come trueā for Blacq Prodigal. āIt was amazing working with her,ā he shares. āFour years ago, I told my wife I wanted to work with her on this.ā Call it manifestation or divine intervention, Blacq Prodigal was blessed with the opportunity he had hoped for. Up next for Blacq Prodigal is the upcoming single āGoodbye to the Game.ā The ballad reflects on Blacq Prodigalās time on the streets and how heās long since moved forward. During his time in prison, Blacq Prodigal was able to develop his vision for this project. āI wrote the ballad because itās part of my life,ā he adds. āIām not afraid or ashamed of it. By being able to relate to the streets and in church, Iām trying to be the bridge that brings people back to God. If I can return, everyone can return.ā Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support .ā¦
https://www.youtube.com/@Jerykomusic https://www.jeryko.com/ Instagram BioSometimes music is more than just a listening experience, inspiring us to connect with something deeper.Such is the case with the music of rising artist Jeryko, whose debut full-length album invites listeners to explore their own sense of meaning and wonder. Known for his sold-out performances at New York venues like Gramercy Theater and Music Hall of Williamsburg, Jeryko has cultivated a local US and international fanbase from places like South Africa, Europe, and Australia. His signature style blends neo-Hasidic spirituality with contemporary sounds. In collaboration with producer Prince Fox, his new album is being released track by track, starting with the singles āWalk Awayā and āDreaming.ā The latest single, āDreaming,ā captures the heart of Jerykoās artistic vision: what he calls the second coming-of-age. This pivotal life stage, as he describes it, involves moving beyond the initial transition into adulthood to seek a deeper purpose, forge meaningful connections, and embrace a connection with something higher than ourselves. āItās about committing to a life with more depthāasking yourself, āWhat am I here for?āā Musically, the single balances dreamlike airiness with grounded determination. Ethereal beats and layered guitar melodies point to the higher aspirations of Jerykoās dreams, while gritty bass and drum breakdowns reflect the earthly resolve needed to achieve them. The lyrics underscore this duality: āDreaming / Headās up in the clouds / Iām just dreaming / They tell me to come down / All they know is what they tell themselves / But Iām still dreaming in the clouds / Not coming down.ā With influences like Kings of Leon, Chance the Rapper, and Mac Miller, Jerykoās sound defies genres while staying deeply rooted in his faith. His spiritual and artistic direction draws inspiration from pioneers like Hasidic reggae star Matisyahu and Christian rapper Forrest Frank. Similarly, Jeryko is bringing Jewish-inspired music into the global mainstream. Producer Prince Fox, known for his work with Bebe Rexha and Hailee Steinfeld, contributed his expertise to the project, helping Jeryko craft a polished yet soulful sound. Jerykoās creative process is inspired by Jewish mysticism, particularly the idea that every moment and creation has its own melody. āWhen I write,ā he explains, "it feels similar to an act of prayer, because you& trying to communicate the most real things in your heart and connect with something much bigger than yourself." Whether composing alone or improvising with an audience, this philosophy drives his artistry and creates a sense of connection in his music. The theme of a second coming of age resonates deeply with Jerykoās personal journey. After early experiences and a career behind the scenes in the music industry, working in labels and management, there was a moment when something clicked. His passion for creating musicāand inspiring othersāultimately drew him back. āWhen you have so many people in one room listening to you,ā he says, āyou have an incredible opportunity to share a positive message. I think a lot of artists miss out on that opportunity.ā Jeryko wants to leave his listeners with meaningful takeaways they can carry into their own lives. From launching his first clothing label, My Best Interest Apparel, to releasing his new single, Will has taken personal setbacks as an opportunity to work even harder this year. At the beginning of 2024, Will unexpectedly lost his father, who was a devoted supporter of Willās career. āIt was ammunition to keep me going. My father wouldāve been proud of what Iāve accomplished this year,ā shares Will Preston. Now, approaching the tail-end of 2024, Will is excited to share his latest release, the single āMerry Go Round.ā āMerry Go Roundā is an introspective look at the darker side of love, the push and pull of wanting someone you know isnāt good for you. Instead of walking away, the narrator (through the voice of Will) explores the complexity of wanting to move on while also wanting to stay on the ride that is love. Itās a tune to which many can relate. Few are lucky enough to never know the pain of holding on to a relationship that has long been dead and only hope is left to keep it alive. Then thereās the rest of us, who hang to Will Prestonās every lyric in mutual understanding. āMerry Go Roundā opens with dreamy, upbeat vibes, slowly introducing Will Prestonās smooth vocals into the mix. His voice carries emotion and depth that add a layer to the story. Combining his signature smooth R&B vocals with a pop twist, Will Preston breathes new life into the single, showcasing his vocal strength and versatility. By infusing his signature ballad style with a tinge of pop, Will is able to speak to wider audiences with his latest single. Since the release of his last single, Will Preston has taken time to reflect and write. āComing through the end of COVID, there was a lot of downtime in the music industry. This created the perfect opportunity to dig deeper into concepts and topics. I wanted to explore love from the standpoint of a toxic love situation. Itās a different side of love we donāt often think about, and taking a break from performing during COVID gave me a chance to ponder deeply into the notion. There are so many facets of love to explore,ā explains Will. As for his clothing line, Will Preston is excited to embark on a new creative journey. āI know music, but fashion is a different world for me. You can try to apply the same formulas, but itās different. Yet, like my music, I strive to make something high quality that I would be proud to wear. I translate the same energy of making music to my clothing line.ā Much like making music, Will finds that he can convert a vision or sound into a finished product in his fashion venture. āItās a different way of seeing the world through a creative lens. You just canāt put words to it,ā he adds. Next year, we can look forward to Will Preston commencing a new chapter. Not only will he be releasing his new album (before his birthday in April), but he will also be focusing on live performances and engaging with fans on tour. Instagram Tiktok Bio Rose Prince is an artist who thrives on the emotional authenticity of his music. And, through his own emotional authenticity, he hopes to find relatability with his listeners. His new single āFreakā is one that compiles a series of late night adventures he's had in his life. He hopes it reminds people of their own exciting nights out. āIām picking up diamonds and curating certain experiences from my life. I want to say it's like a dark dreamā¦somewhere between fantasy and reality. Itās not like my life is like this every dayā¦but I wrote this song because Iāve been there.ā Written over the course of years, āFreakā is a song Rose Prince hopes people queue up in their pre-game moments, add to their *spicy* playlist, or blast through bass-boosting car speakers on the way to the afterparty. As a songwriter who always writes with intentionality, he wants the lyrics of the song to resonate with people. He also wants the song to give people confidence in their ācarpe diemā moments. Through the songās entrancing production, heavy bass and overall mystical sound, the dreamlike state Rose was going for is strong throughout the entirety of the track. āWhen people hear this, I want them to be like āOh wow, this is hard.ā I want them to feel that way about the beat and the lyrics.āRose Prince is an artist that doesnāt only create or listen to music but absorbs it. Whenlistening to his favorite artists, lyrics and production stand out to him clearly. He admiresartists like The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky and Metro Boomin, who are all known for immersive sonic cohesion in their music. The emotional resonance he has with lyrics of his favorite songs is the blueprint for the effect his own music is written to have. āI write the music I want to hear.ā The song āFreakā is a track whose lyrics paint specific pictures in the listener's mind. They take the person hearing Rose Princeās words to the moment he was in and the mindstate during those events. āThereās no limit to what you can write. Lyrics are pure emotion turned into words and you take that emotion and build whatever you want with it.ā For Rose Prince, the sounds around the lyrics are just as important. Rose often envisions melodies and sounds in his own head and works with producers to bring the full concept to life. Sometimes, the producer brings something different than what he had in mind and the end result is one that is even greater than what he envisioned. Collaboration is something he embraces and heās well aware of the positive results it can create. āIād say my strength is in songwritingā¦I want to find producers who can take my vision for a song and craft a professional quality productionā¦Iām not willing to sacrifice qualityā¦I think combining skill sets is important as a creator.ā While āFreakā sits in the lane of electronic, pop, rap-signing, Rose plans to go for something completely different with his next release. However, the intentionality with the music remains. By having such a diverse interest in the multi layered beauty of music, Rose Prince is able to take inspiration from his influences and craft something that best reflects who he is. He knows that no matter what he writes, they will be his words and they will be expressed in the way that he wants them to be. "It's about magic," she shares. "We can create our own life. We can create our own world. We have the power to do that." The song was born out of inspiration from Loraine's time as a nanny for four young girls who loved fairies and magical worlds, combining this with her musical influences at the time. The result is an uplifting track that blends fantasy with a grounded yet whimsical message. Jokingly, she adds that her husband now is convinced the song is about him, which adds a fun extra layer of interpretation to the songā¦The songās evolution is just as fascinating as its message. I wasnāt sure at first. But then I grew into really loving it.ā The electronic production adds a fresh layer to the song, transforming it into a soulful anthem about growth, nurturing, and patience. "Itās just a lighter writing... not taking it too seriously either," she says, which adds a sense of fun and freedom to the track."Magic Man" is the second single off Loraine's upcoming EP Power From Love, which explores the concept of embracing oneās personal power. "There is power in love, where you donāt necessarily need to do much... it comes down to self-love," she explains, offering listeners a sense of calm and empowerment. For Loraine, music has always been a part of her life. Growing up in a musical family, she was immersed in music early on. āAs long as I can remember, I was singing and doing music,ā she shares, noting that her mother, a former elementary teacher, instilled a love for music through interactive classes. This early exposure to music paved the way for Loraine to develop a passion for singing and songwriting and, later, integrate her music into her career as a life coach. spotify Youtube Facebook Instagram https://www.tiktok.com/@alya.the.artist No More Lonely Christmas, the new album from ALYA, which was just dropped, is a fulfilment of the artistās Christmas wish, embodied in the track that provides the name for the album. The eight tracks feature ALYAās versions of three classics, including a collaboration with Eric Clapton on āSilent Night,ā and five original songs, including the title track, a fast, fun, hand-clapping, jazzy, pop love song. āWe wanted to create something that would be an updated version of Mariah Careyās āAll I Want for Christmas Is You,ā which is a song I really love, a Christmas classic, but we felt like itās time for something new, fresh, cool, and āNo More Lonely Christmasā is the song that came out of the thought.ā Where Mariahās song is a wish for a certain someone, ALYAās song is the wish come true: I waited since foreverand now that weāre togetherI feel the holiday cheerCuz Iāll never be alone on ChristmasāIt was very fun to record,ā she said. āThere is a lot going on in the track.āPiano, horns, clapping, drums all combine in a happy, joyful celebration of love and the season. āItās just a very, very good feeling song. I had so much fun recording it, and I really hope that everybody else will feel the joy, feel the love that I put in the song. I really believe that it has all the chances of becoming a new Christmas classic.ā The song is a perfect namesake for an album that carries the artistās Christmas hopes. āI wanted to put over so much love, so much good emotion, so much good energy that when you listen to the record you will feel like, no matter where you are, you are surrounded by your loved ones.ā āLittle Drummer Boyā and āIāll Be Home for Christmas,ā along with āSilent Night,ā are the albumās three classics. Together, they constituted the EP she put out last year, Home for Christmas. They have been updated for the current album. This yearās version of āIāll Be Homeā features Indiara Sfair, āa wonderful musician from Brazil,ā on harmonica. ALYA will live her Christmas wish on Monday in Los Angeles, when she will perform at the Good Shepherd Shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. The children were asked to request gifts in advance, and they will get their wishes when ALYA distributes gifts. āI will be Mama Claus,ā she said. Gifts will also be distributed to the mothers and staff and ALYA is providing a catered luncheon for the residents and staff. On December 19, she is streaming a live show from Burbank for STAGE.LIVE.BUY, a showcase for new artists modeled after NPRās āTiny Deskā series. The day the album released she performed for a āModels in Comedyā Christmas special. ALYA was born and raised in the Soviet Union and, as a child, started classical vocal training. She immigrated as an adult to the United States in 2012 and began her career in music. āI dropped everything and started my life from scratch,ā she says in her official biography. āI took the road less traveled, and that has made all the difference.ā She has amassed millions of viewers on her social media platforms. Her single āHope,ā released earlier this year, went viral on TikTok, drawing more than a million views. As an artist and a philanthropist, she has been featured in Star, Us Weekly, In Touch Weekly and Life & Style. Beginning last year, she took her career further down the road less taken, putting out music at a much faster pace. āIt takes a while to find the right people. It takes a while to find the sound that you really love,ā she said, āand Iām just warming up.ā No More Lonely Christmas is her first full length album. Next year, she will come out with more singles. āWe will probably drop an album at the end of next year with a new sound, with new people.ā Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support .ā¦

Jay Anthony is an R&B/Pop singer with a large Gospel influence throughout all his music. Whether it be the spiritual angle of his subject matter, the way he sings, or the way the music is arranged, he keeps God first in all things. His latest single, āWorth Livingā from his EP Music & Me was written from a very vulnerable place and offers encouragement and motivation to anyone going through something. Jay explained that he actually began writing the song in 2021 and after going through the loss of his Grandmother, depression and therapy, was able to complete the song this year. He shared that losing her was what caused the depression which led to him temporarily losing his love of music. Since he grew up with multiple musically inclined family members and lives a family centric life, losing her was like losing a piece of the love that was in his heart. But, by completing this song he found the motivation to compose the rest of the EP. āWhen I finished writing this song, I cried. When I heard the finished version, I cried. When my Mother - who didnāt know about all of my crying - heard it for the first time, she cried. I knew if it had that effect on us, I had no choice but to share it with the world. The song gave me hope to continue. I knew I had to finish this project and I knew He [God] didnāt give me these words just for me to keep them to myself.ā Jay purposely released this song during this time of year because of how depression affects so many people around the holidays. He wants people to know that itās okay to not be okay and to get the therapy they need and keep living. All the music Jay writes is made with intentionality like this. For him, every song he writes is like a child which means they all need love and nurturing from him. And because of that love within them, he believes the music will resonate with people today and with people 20-40 years from now. He knows the music will be timeless because the lyrics within them and how they reached him are timeless. āItās spiritual for me. The Most High gives me these lyrics and Iām just a vessel for Him.ā The spiritual perspective of the music creation comes directly from Jayās background in the church. And with him, heās found that all music comes from gospel. Whether itās chords or melodies - all of it goes back to gospel. By learning this, he was able to apply techniques from that world to a plethora of other aspects of music. His Grandmother reinforced this perspective by teaching him that the key to it all is singing from the heart. āWhen you sing from the heart, youāre going to touch people.ā Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support .ā¦

So it is with āCulmination,ā the sixth track this year, releasing on November 24, from Mundane Miracle. āListening to electronic music is like an explosion in your brain, with all these crazy things going on,ā he said. āIt just really sets your brain off.ā āI think, with all my songs, itās kind of like a flow of consciousness,ā he said. āIt is trying to put out different sounds, and once I have a little base, then I try out different elements, listening repetitively to the song trying different elements.ā Mundane Miracle, is starting to put out the music that he has wanted to make since 2010, when he first heard Matthew Dearās āI Canāt Feel.ā āCulminationā is somewhat different from the five other songs he has put out so far. āI started out basically creating the atmospheric undertones to it, and I thought I was just going to have that as a song, just that atmospheric sound.ā Thatās the sound that hooks a listener at first. He describes it as āalmost eerie, kind of ominous.ā āMost of the songs Iāve been working on more recently have that kind of eerie undertone, but at the same time theyāre ā I feel like thereās a happiness to them.ā But then he kept on listening, over and over. āSometimes, Iāll keep listening to something, and with āCulmination,ā I thought, āOh, it would be good to have this here, and this here, and it just kind of evolved from there.ā āEerie, kind of ominousā is an apt description of the atmospheric underlayer, but coming in and exploding over it is a fireworks display of sound. He said he started hearing in it hints of other electronic music that he liked, and when he listened to those songs he tried to identify the kinds of things that he liked so that he could incorporate in his song the feelings they aroused. āI tried to capture the feel as best I could in my own song, and I was really pleased with it, and so, āCulminationā ā I called it that because I think itās a culmination of my being.ā His background is not music, but he has always been a listener. He says he loved classic rock ā Jethro Tull was a favorite ā and also krautrock, which he called ākind of like classic rock mixed with some electronic.ā But the thought of making music, let alone publishing it, never entered his head as a realistic possibility. And then he heard āI Canāt Feel.ā āI loved all different types of electro music, but for some reason that hit me in a way that I said to myself, āWow, I really want to try this.ā I thought it would just be a fun hobby.ā He recounts in his artist bio that he was inspired to contact Dear to compliment his song and to ask about music production. And Dear responded. āAlthough my intent was to simply do this for a low-level hobby,ā he writes, āhe provided a timeline for when I could expect to write and release a song, which I never imagined would even be possible.ā Fourteen years later, it has become a much higher-level hobby. He is putting out music and promoting it and working on more. He has a ālot of other singles in the making.ā His genre, and he will stick with it, is lo fi, instrumental electro, ābut within that I bounce around between different styles and approaches.ā āItās still a fun hobby,ā he said, āand I am so happy with it right now. His fun, the happiness, is reflected in the titles he has so far put out: āMagnum Poopus,ā āHerculean Homunculus,ā āConfetti Illuminati,ā and āSweatpant Euphoria.ā His first was āSurreal.ā āIf I could make a living off it ā I donāt need to be famous; I donāt even know if my genre really lends itself to being really popular ā but even if I could just make a modest living off it, that would be a dream come true.ā Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support .ā¦

https://vyd.co/ForeverEvergreen Kelsey Dodd, at just 17, is no newcomer to music. Since age five, Kelsey has been on a steady journey fueled by her passion for singing and the performing arts. From vocal lessons across genres and styles, to musical theater, and training on piano, ukulele, and (a recent dabble in) guitar, sheās set to release her debut EP, āForever Evergreen.ā Originally planned as a holiday project of reimagined Christmas classics, Kelsey shares that during the process of selecting songs, she became inspired to create an original track that captures her deep, imaginative connection to the colors, emotions, and memories of the holidays and family. Based in Saratoga, New York, Kelsey brings a vibrant blend of musical influences to her work, from contemporary pop, soul, jazz, and classical sounds. Sheās drawn inspiration from greats like Barbara Streisand and Ella Fitzgerald to contemporary artists like Adele and Kelly Clarkson, for her ability to sing powerfully, and convey deep emotion through her voice. Kelsey shares that her style has also been shaped by her background in musical theater, where sheās learned to give each performance its own narrative. She really commits to delivering the story behind each songāsomething youāll experience when you listen to āForever Evergreen.ā The EPās title track, āForever Evergreen,ā co-written with Cassandra Kubinski, and produced by Joel Moss and Jim Mastrianni, is the emotional centerpiece of the project. This original song embodies Kelseyās authenticity and love for the holiday season, which she describes as a time when, no matter what happens throughout the year, the holidays serve to reconnect with family, yourself, and the things you cherish most. āNo matter what weāve lost, no matter what we knew,Who had a golden year or whoās feeling blueThose memories wrapped in red on that snow white sceneThe moments that we share this season stay forever evergreen,ā she sings in the chorus line. Kelsey describes the Evergreen tree as a symbol of both nostalgia and continuityāa constant rock, much like family and tradition. The color green represents the refreshing, and regrounding elements of connecting with her family, where each time, they get to create new moments with one another. In addition to her original song, the EP includes four classic Christmas covers. She laughs that the selection process started with her bringing a binder full of 30+ Christmas covers to her team that she knew and loved, but needed support narrowing down. Her team comprises Grammy-winning producer Joel Moss, whom Kelsey met through the Saratoga Childrenās Theater, producer Jim Mastrianni, and musical director Cassandra Kubinski. The teamās creative process included brainstorming over dozens of these holiday tracks, finally landing on the songs that sparked the most joy and musical uniqueness with Kelseyās delivery. Joel played an instrumental role helping Kelsey cultivate an animated experience in the EP, full with live instruments like saxophone, clarinet, and organ to capture that classic Christmas warmth. She mentions not wanting to give too much away, but loved some of the creative touches they made to each track; Nat King Coleās āThe Christmas Song,ā features a nod to the Nutcracker, while āLet It Snowā gets a jazzy twist with playful hints of āJingle Bells.ā Each song infuses Kelseyās emotional connection to holiday memories and colors, and combines nostalgia with the newness of each season. While initially planned as an EP of just covers, the team delightfully realized that an original track would complete the collection, rounding out the project. For Kelsey, āForever Evergreenā represents more than a musical project. The EP celebrates self-expression, authenticity, gratitude, family, and tradition. Through her music, she hopes to inspire fans to embrace their own roots and cherish the people around them. āThis project allowed me to bring myself to the table, to share my memories, and to watch them come alive in the lyrics and music,ā she says. It captures a very real and foundational part of herself. As Kelsey steps into her future with dreams of performing and releasing more original music, sheāll be headed to NYC to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theater. To readers and future fans, Kelsey offers a closing piece of advice: āDonāt be afraid to share yourself with the world, being genuine and authentic can lead to some of the greatest gifts life could give you. Donāt be afraid to open those doors.ā For a musical reminder to celebrate family and the little things that make this season so special, Catch ā Forever Evergreen ā coming out November 15th. While their tracks are designed to get people moving, they also aim to resonate with listeners outside of the club, capturing the feeling of fun and freedom that music offersāwhether at a desk, in the car, or at a party.Their sound, rooted in tech house, features a laid-back tempo that allows for more space in the beats, blending chill vibes with high-energy moments. This creates a paradoxical, yet engaging experienceāperfect for both dancing and deeper listening. "Weāre making music that transports people, not just to the dance floor, but through a whimsical, almost absurd journey," they explain.Their debut single, "Tested On Animals," reflects this unique approach, inspired by the irony of a dog treat package labeled "not tested on animals." With witty lyricism and unconventional pacing, Blast Havers embraces the roots of house music, reminding listeners that slowing down doesnāt mean sacrificing energy.Drawing influences from funk, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, and De La Soul, the group plans to release several singles through 2025, including "Content Schmontent" in January and "Take The Ride" in February, alongside expanding their visual presence. The storm rages righteously for another four minutes.āWe just tried to write a good, old fashioned rock and roll song,ā said Jimmy, āwhere the listeners would wonder what happened to their socks: well, they got rocked off by The Jimmy Dixon Group! So, we wrote a little rock and roll tune for our vintage electric guitars and plugged āem into an amp.ā Mission accomplished.āHopefully, people can dig the groove. It's just a song that makes you feel good.āFor those who want to groove on the lyrics: Up in the thinnest of airFading a sense to careNo more painLost touch of what is sane āThe great thing about a song is that it can have one meaning to one person and mean something completely different to someone else. And neither one is wrong. For me, itās about, I guess, being on a higher plane,ā said Jimmy, āhowever one gets there, and being able to think about who you are, what youāre doing, how youāre spending your time.ā Like, listening to rock and roll? āThatās right. Exactly.āThe Jimmy Dixon Group is seven people, all with the surname Dixon (no relation anywhere) as far as anybody outside the group is concerned. The website carries the highly entertaining origin story , and anybody willing to believe it is welcome to do so. Jimmy is lead vocals and, with his 1955 Martin D-28, āsome guitar.ā Chubbs Dixon is the drummer. Cranky Dixon has a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Special and his wife, āMidnightā Mae Dixon, is the pianist. Gary Dixon plays a 1968 Hofner 500/1 bass and sings backing vocals. Capo Dixon, rhythm guitar, is supposedly named for his love of using a capo on his 1967 Martin D12-35 12-string acoustic and his 2017 Rickenbacker 660/12 electric. Benmont Dixon plays strings. āIn Thin Airā is the second of 10 tracks on the album Rough Demos, released this year. This is the first music the group has released. Jimmy tells the story of these seven people who just wanted to get together with their vintage instruments and their love for vintage rock and roll and write and play music. A couple years ago, they did just that. They gather in person from time to time but otherwise work and collaborate from a distance. āWe didnāt go into it thinking we would make an album. We just went into it thinking weād have a little fun together, writing some songs and playing together. We spent a lot of time on it, and then all of a sudden we had songs that we had a lot of fun making, and we thought somebody would get a little joy out of listening. So we scraped together what we had in the studio and made an album.ā The Rough Demos name has its own origin story, supposedly being ārecorded whenever and wherever the group could find an empty studio and an engineer who had his back turned,ā according to the official group bio. Believing that is optional. āWe really love, and weāre really proud of, the album.ā Their music is inspired by āthe roots of rock and roll,ā said Jimmy. He cites ā50s Chicago blues ā Willie Dixon (no relation), Howlinā Wolf, Muddy Waters, Little Walter ā then moving into the ā60s with artists such as Dylan, and on to the ā70s (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers).he tracks, whether fast and furious like āIn Thin Airā or meditative and whimsical like āCapo 5th Fret No. 2ā (āArt is dead, long live the art/Priced to move at Neilās new storeā), are full of wonderful performances by the musicians. They are about 90 percent done, he says, with the music that will be Rough Demos II, which will be released early next year. They love the tones of the old instruments too, he said, especially the ā50s and ā60s Fenders, Gibsons and Martins. āThey just have their own unique sound that we really love. Nothing wrong with the new stuff, but we love the sound that you get from an old tweed amp after you plug in that Gibson Les Paul.āāIn Thin Air,ā a fine piece of old-fashioned rock and roll, has, says Jimmy, āa nice groove to it and people can feel the rock and roll.āHe says the band has no career destination. We started out not really having a goal in mind, just playing and creating, having fun and getting joy out of music. We take it one small step at a time, and if we can connect with a couple people here and there who really like our music, that is tremendously exciting for us.ā Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support .ā¦

Soundcloud Youtube https://belleairemusic.com Belle Aire is an infinitely creative writer and Music Artist who currently dwells in Los Angeles. Hailing from San Diego, she was immersed in the artistic realm early on and the universal love of music has been her driving force ever since. With her loving, free-spirit, and outgoing personality combined, it certainly feels like love is in the āAireā when sheās performing on stage for all of her wonderful āAiresā (heirs or fans). Belle Aireās songs are windows into her soul, life journey, and dreams. When it comes to Belle Aireās musical influences, theyāre countless and include original movie musical Annie, Whitney Houston, Tina Tuner, Michael Jackson, and Toni Braxton. Additionally, Keith Washington, Dark Child, Ike Turner and Joe Ryan all of which she has collaborated with in the past inspire her immensely. Out of everyone, though, the little girl inside her heart still loves the character Annie Because she was always seen as the girl with the least potential but she dreamed big and saw the greater good in everyone and came out on top! As much as the Soul and R&B genres awakened her to her unwavering melodic devotion, EDM is her home sweet home, which matches her vibrant personality and bold energy to a T. What draws her to the genre of EDM is itās universal love and devoid of age discernment; whether youāre fifteen or fiftyāeveryone must DANCE! Belle Aire possesses the genuine background and innate aptitude (dynamic vocal chops and choreographic eloquence included) to move into this lucrative genre, which is in dire need of some diverse female talent since Ultra Nate, Crystal Waters and The Weather Girls. Furthermore, Belle Aireās one-of-a-kind stage persona is a rare commodity, as she draws from the antiquities of Romeābrimming with castles, court men/eunuchs, women robed in elegant body paint, and cascading fluid drops of lightā¦ which is also known as āa decadent musical with a free spiritā of sorts. Her unforgettable performances are greatly choreographed with dancer accompaniment. While music will forever be on her mind and in her heart, Belle Aire also loves to dance, sing karaoke, exercise, play pool, bowl, learn new languages, meet new people and discover new restaurants. Being the second oldest sister of four siblings and the daughter of an ever-supportive mother, she cherishes her family time more than anything. Goal-wise, Belle Aire has various aspirations, including winning a Grammy, being Number 1 on the charts, headlining at huge events like EDC and Concerts overseas, and collaborating with the top EDM DJās like Zedd, Diplo, and David Guetta. Being the compassionate soul that she is, Belle Aire also wants to give back to the world and start a foundation for abused women and children. As a strong believer of music being ageless and containing healing abilities for the mind, body and spirit, she knows that each and every one of us are destined for greatness and she wishes to convey this in everything that she does. Belle Aire not only believes in dreams she is āLiving Beyond The Dreamā. Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support .ā¦
