Today, we will be interviewing Dr. Amir Khiabani, a first year resident in the University of South Florida emergency medicine residency program at Tampa General Hospital. Amir joined the DO or Do Not Podcast team during the second year and was the second producer. Having worked as a chemist and teacher before attending the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, Amir has had a decidedly non-traditional path to becoming a physician. We discuss his path to medicine, the challenges he overcame along the way, and his involvement in the podcast.
