The tropical, humid climate certainly doesn't help, especially with this most recent hurricane and subsequent flooding; Mold is extremely active throughout Houston. Airborne and food allergies are also very common and can even be connected to each other. Dr. Hotze also touches on inverse condemnation, homes being flooded when the reservoirs were opened and the lasting impact that will have in the community.
