I fremtiden vil høreapparater kunne give en mere naturlig og individuelt tilpasset lydoplevelse.

Det skal ske ved fx at bruge input fra hjernen, indsamle store datamængder fra omgivelserne, og lade algoritmer beregne den bedst mulige behandling af signalerne.

De avancerede apparater var i fokus på den nylig afholdte DTU-konference High Tech Summit.

Medvirkende: Professor Torsten Dau fra DTU Elektro, professor Jan Larsen fra DTU Compute, og Uwe Hermann, leder af Eriksholm Research Center. Alle tre deltog i en session om høreforskning på High Tech Summit-konferencen på DTU 21-22. september 2017.
