This week we're bypassing the randomizer for yet another Guest's Choice episode which also happens to be another Channel KRT crossover, in which the very awesome Kit Quinn "makes" us watch one of the very finest pieces of mainstream filmmaking of the 2010s, a megabudgeted CGI-heavy blockbuster tentpole sequel set in an expansive cinematic universe in which visionary writer/director James Gunn, rather than simply make a soulless cash grab and let the franchise spin its wheels, uses his uniquely enormous canvas to tell an emotionally affecting fable about the desperation of loss, the ripple effect of abuse, the joys and pitfalls of parenting, and ultimately the power of the bonds we form between each other. It's also got a talking raccoon, a character named "Taserface," a David Hasselhoff cameo, and a scene where the main character turns himself into Pac-Man.
