James is 33 years old and lives with his partner in Watford, Hertfordshire. He is the author of 'Befriending My Brain: A Psychosis Story' - a memoir about his experiences being sectioned with mental illness, as well as recovery and relapse. He also works as Senior Marketing Officer for Hertfordshire Mind Network, a local mental health charity. James has written many blogs about his experience with mental illness and has also appeared on several podcasts and television to talk about the subject.
