Hilary Hahn first picked up a violin when she was 3, and made her major orchestral debut at 12. Now in her forties, she has spent four decades playing, and more than thirty of those years playing with some of the best orchestras in the world. Over that time, she has gathered some—actually, A LOT of—wisdom about what goes into an elite performance.
