Naomi gives some fantastic news regarding Bite Me and describes their first full week of pre-production. They’re off to the races!

Interview: Naomi talks with her best friend since was 13, Veronica Hunsinger-Loe – one of the founding members of the award-winning experimental theater company Skin Horse Theater in New Orleans, founder of a new experimental company Nat & Veronica, now a burgeoning film and VR-maker in LA, and soon-to-be costume designer of Bite Me. They talk about how Veronica’s career evolved from teenage dreams of Broadway stardom to running an outstandingly successful theater company to walking away from it all to find what truly fulfills her. They talk about the bravery that is required to step away from the expectations those around you have for what you will do with your life and allowing a new dream to grow up in its place, what its like to be an artist in NYC or LA vs. elsewhere in the country, and about finding the fine balance between what you want to do in the world and what the world wants from you.

Favorite Thing This Week: The hit indie romantic comedy, The Big Sick. It’s the funniest movie Naomi has seen in years and a total delight all around. Give yourself a treat and get thee to a movie theater.
