Naomi talks about week 3 of pre-production for Bite Me: casting, locking locations, negotiating with agents, watching the project suddenly spring to full 3-D life, and what it’s like to walk around with electric blue hair.

Interview: Naomi talks to dynamo advocate for women and girls Tiffany Dufu about her book Drop the Ball: Achieving More by Doing Less. They talk about the predicament modern women find themselves in, working more outside the home than ever before, and yet still shouldering the vast majority of work at home. They talk about how to navigate shifting this each as women in our own homes and relationships so that we can travel the distance in our careers.

Tiffany is a catalyst-at-large in the world of women’s leadership and the author of Drop the Ball, a memoir and manifesto that shows women how to cultivate the single skill they really need in order to thrive: the ability to let go.

Named to Fast Company’s League of Extraordinary Women, Tiffany was a launch team member to Lean In and is Chief Leadership Officer to Levo, one of the fastest growing millennial professional networks. Prior to that, Tiffany served as President of The White House Project, as a Major Gifts Officer at Simmons College in Boston, and as Associate Director of Development at Seattle Girls’ School, an institution committed to giving all girls the power to be innovative, confident, critical thinkers.

Tiffany is a member of Women’s Forum New York, Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc. and serves on the National Board Development Committee for Girl Scouts USA. In addition to being a part of TARA, a sister group of the Belizean Grove focusing on the next generation of global leaders, she serves on the board of Harlem 4 Kids and the board of Students First New York as well as the Advisory Council for Women Ready for Hillary.

Favorite Thing This Week: This week, Naomi’s brain is 100% in Bite Me -land. Like them on Facebook and Twitter to get behind the scenes sneak peeks at their cast, crew, and locations!
