Being immersed can be defined as a state of focus in which a person is completely absorbed and engrossed in their work. While in a flow state, people are highly involved and focused on what they are doing. The ego falls away. Time flies. Every action, movement, and thought follows inevitably from the previous one, like playing jazz.
