Part 1 of my conversation with Rachel Jacob.
In the first part of our conversation, Rachel talks about her background as an actor in both theatre and film and how she takes concepts she learned as a theatre actor and applied them to film acting. Rachel also talks about how she got started in the film industry being thrusted into an 2 Assistant Camera position. Rachel continues to take us on her beginning filmmaker journey as she switched to the AD department as a Production Assistant and how it paved the way to where she is now. We end this portion of the conversation talking DGA, networking, and work ethic.
