Part 2 of my conversation with Rachel Jacob.
In the second part of our conversation, Rachel and I talk about screenwriting and being being authentic Rachel talks about using her life experiences and emotional states as a foundation for her stories. Rachel and I continue as we talk about how we write from each character’s point of view versus another character’s point of view about a character or even that of the audience’s perceived view of the character. We discuss how detailed actions lines should be and why we should paint a picture with words. We conclude this portion of our conversation talking about the “page a minute” idea of screenwriting.
