Habit:

One of the reoccurring features here at The Nerd Mentality has been Garrett’s Films from the Basement series. In it, he watches and reviews the bad, the downtrodden, and also the obscure. Why you ask? Some would say he likes to torture himself because he was never allowed new and nice things living in the basement. He was shackled to a chair only having ice cream for his meals. What he really wanted that whole time was a Baby Ruth. Now that he is allowed to live above-ground and watch some decent films, he still likes to recall his time spent below. Habit continues our looks through the Larry Fessenden boxset we started with No Telling.

Habit is a different take on the vampire genre that may prove to be quite divisive. Come listen to what Garrett and Rich thought and if it is worth your time.

For next week, Garrett picked Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D. (1990) from Troma films which should be all the description you need. It’s on Amazon Prime for any that want to watch prior to the show. A Hijacking is the subject of our second film, a Danish thriller.

We hope you you enjoy our discussions and also welcome anyone to join in and comment below. Our new email address is basement@thenerdmentality.com which you can send suggestions or thoughts. Furthermore, we hope to continue the podcast each week and keep a steady stream of basement films!
