Twyla Verhelst is no stranger to any of this. As the co-founder of Helm and an original co-founder of an accounting firm called Twenty Eighty, and more recently the founder of a brand new non-profit focused on empowering women and girls who have the gift of autism called empowering Tana, she knows quite a bit about leading and being an entrepreneur. In this episode, she shares all her top tips on leadership and entrepreneurship, including the surprising way she cultivated her own self confidence. After recording this episode, Twyla has gone on to join FreshBooks as the Head of the Accountant Channel, where she is now lending her skills & experience scaling a successful firm to supporting accountants around the world build more collaborative accounting models
