What is Finding Your Normal all about? Where did it come from? Who is Adam Brophy? What am I signing on for if I sit down to listen to this?
These are all great questions, and in this short prelude/preview I try to answer most of those questions, and if I leave any of them out, well...I am sure we will cover it as we go.
Because that's what I have to do. I have to put this out there.
This Idea for this podcast started in 2018. But I have sat on it. I have listened to more podcasts in that time than I will likely ever record myself. Taking notes. Feeling stuck. Moments of inspiration were followed by droughts of energy which were really wrapped up in fear. Wash, rinse, repeat.
I wanted this to be perfect. It won't be. Hopefully, you're good with that. I'm finding a way to be okay with that.
But what I am aiming to do here is what I have done a thousand times with friends and clients. Start a conversation. Remain curious. Find opportunities to connect on level ground and from there begin to dig deeper. And in that digging get to the bottom of this, which is that we are all more alike than we are different. That we are all struggling in whatever ways we are. And that there is no right or wrong in any of this process called life, there is simply different.
