In this episode, we have the great pleasure of speaking with "Pu" Vithaya Pansringarm, a world-renowned and internationally awarded Thai actor, who only started acting at the age of 50! Pu shares his philosophy about what his job is as an actor, he discusses his dance with the cameraman to keep his final audience in clear focus and divulges his disciplined role preparation ritual.
Vithaya offers practical advice for aspiring actors and shares memories from the set when working with Ryan Gosling on Only God Forgives and Colin Farrell and Viggo Mortensen on Thirteen Lives. Pu also shares insights from some of his past projects like The Last Executioner and Hurts Like Hell. This conversation is a firsthand look at acting and the cinema industry from a much different perspective than we could get anywhere else!
