On this weeks episode of the podcast Vernaire sits down with Kojo Marfo the founder of My Runway Group, a production company which merges the different elements of creative arts to empower young people.

_

Kojo’s story is an extremely fascinating one, because his journey from boarding school to the philanthropist that he is today, was filled with many ups and downs, but he persevered through it all.

_

Throughout the conversation they discussed how he went from living a privileged life in Ghana, to cleaning toilets in the U.K. From planning to commit to suicide one day, to planning events and eventually owning his own night club at university. And finally what sparked the idea for his amazing organisation My Runway Group and the work that they are doing with young creatives in the U.K.

_

If you are a creative who has struggled with a mental illness or if you are just interested in hearing a truly motivating and empowering story, this is the episode for you.
