Climate change is the most important story of the 21st century – perhaps the greatest challenge our civilisation has ever faced. And those in the global South will suffer disproportionately from its effects. Today, we explore what the future holds for emerging markets in the upheaval to create a post-carbon world. Is there hope?

Joining us are Professor Cameron Hepburn, Director of the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment and Professor of Environmental Economics at the University of Oxford, Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and United Nation’s High Commissioner for Human Rights, whose recent book Climate Justice urgently addresses the problem, and Laurent Ramsey, Managing Partner of the Pictet Group. Pictet Kiran Nandra, Senior Client Portfolio Manager for Pictet Asset Management moderates the discussion.
