In our third podcast, we speak to Jeannie for our second interview with Remote. (Head over to episode 2 to hear part one and Paul’s incredible interview!)
Jeannie gives us her side of the Remote story, navigating a male dominated industry to bring heart led leadership. She talks to us about growing the business, bringing up a child and caring for her husband, Paul, though his recovery from Crohn's Disease.
We discuss all things wonder woman and how she was spinning the plates of life to ensure the business kept going, clients were looked after, the team were happy and her husband got well. Jeannie gives us some insights into how they have linked their business to their own personal beliefs and values and how this created a whole new dynamic. Her leadership is focussed around increasing engagement, driving innovation and productivity and delivering sustainable profitability for her client’s businesses.
As well as building a software business, she also spent time learning about herbal medicine to support Paul’s recovery. Listen to Jeannie’s story of strength, compassion, drive and focus. It is clear to see where Paul and Jeannie’s approach was born and how they have had the courage to step away from the norm to make waves in the world.
