The podcast's focus will be about Indigenous issues. We will cover Missing and Murdered Indigenous women, men and children, Residential School, Sixties Scoop, the Indian Act, Indigenous deaths by police and crime. Child and Family Services and the involvement with our Indigenous children will also be discussed. Racism and classism will be explored by our own perspectives and experiences. We will speak about Winnipeg's North End and the generational trauma caused from the Indian Act that our community suffers from. We will share how this darkness revolves and penetrates our lives. We will also be sharing about gatherings such as ceremonies, pow wows, protocols, and traditions. We will be encouraging the listeners to email us their community events, Missing and Murdered Indigenous information so I can share weekly. We also want to encourage indigenous pow wow singers, round dance singers and Indigenous music artists to please send in their music so I can showcase their songs every other week.
