If you’re new to Geek Psychology, my name is Matt Sherman. People call me Sherman. I'm a personality type expert, life coach, hypnotist, author, podcaster, and course creator. I help mainly INFPs embrace their unique strengths and navigate life's challenges. Through practical strategies and deep insights, I aim to help people like you live a more fulfilling and authentic live where you can wake up and feel good about who you are and your impact on the world. Are you an INFP who keeps falling flat at overcoming laziness? Need help with the dreaded INFP procrastination monster? Here are 4 solid tips for using INFP cognitive functions to help you when dealing with procrastination.
To me, it's about aligning your goals with what's important to you as an INFP. We simply don't work by the same metrics that ESTJs and ENTJs do - and trying to force that isn't going to help anything. That being said, taking simple tips from extraverted thinking and incorporating them into our strategy for overcoming laziness can be done, but you have to go at it THROUGH EMOTION and CONVICTION.
That itself is the main key to INFP productivity and motivation. So if you're wondering "why do INFPs procrastinate so much?" and what to do about it, this'll help.
I hope it helps!
