That doesn't mean we have to be extra hard on ourselves though, right? You don't need to punish yourself for making mistakes--they're part of the learning process. And you don't need to compare yourself to others--that's the quickest path to unhappiness.
In this episode, I share 3 important mindsets to help you learn how to stop being mean to yourself and start to learn how to love the journey of becoming a better and more robust version of yourself. If you want to feel more confident in your future actions, then stay here!
You know when you look back on something you did and think, "Why the heck did I do that?" or "I should have done it differently!"?
Of course you do. We've all been there, but many of us stay in that place for way too long, are really hard on ourselves, and spend a lot of time beating up our past selves for not doing things better.
But what if we didn't have to be so hard on ourselves? What if we could learn to see negative experiences and our mistakes as natural learning experiences, so that we can get rid of the self-doubt and start moving forward with confidence?
I also suggest you check out Lavendaire and her video on this topic. Do you think having more exercises and activities would be helpful in videos like this? Or sticking with analogies and mindset shifts? In coaching sessions, we go deeper into actual neuroscience and hypnosis / NLP techniques, but it's not really fitting for YouTube videos... yet...
