GEORGE LYNCH, 'The first week of July is 'go time' and I am looking for soy bean fields - it's the early season first crop magnet for big bucks.
1. First week is go time
a. Bucks are starting to show their antler potential
b. Soy bean fields become prime targets for sightings because the flower buds are irresistible to the deer
2. Use bean fields for long range scouting
3. Time to set cameras on mineral sights to capture potential shooters
4. Keep your cameras above eye level. Keep big bucks from being educated to camera locations
4. Use a good mineral with long range aroma. One of our favorites is Lucky Buck
5. When visiting camera spots, be as scentless as possible
