Gotham takes on the infamous Joker story the Killing Joke as we discuss our Gotham Season 4 Episode 21 Review of "One Bad Day" and our Top Five case notes about this episode. As always make sure you've watched the episode before listening to the podcast. Synopsis for Gotham Season 4 Episode 21 Review One Bad Day Podcast Directed by: Rob Bailey Written by: Tze Chun As Gotham falls into complete anarchy, a group of unlikely disparate heroes step up to save the city, themselves and their loved ones from the maniacal plans of Jeremiah Valeska (Cameron Monaghan). With Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) presumed dead Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) takes the lead at the GCPD to evacuate Gotham and find the location of the bombs planted around the city. Elsewhere, in the Narrows, Jim begins to recuperate at the hands of Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) as she persuades The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) to solve Jeremiah’s puzzle and find the bombs locations. But in doing so Ed Nygma is caught off guard by Jim and so are his feelings for Lee. As Jim heads to the GCPD to help bring the chaos to an end Harvey steps up to disarm the bombs and save Gotham. Meanwhile, as Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) goes to save the kidnapped Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) from Jeremiah and the Scarecrow (David W. Thompson), his psychological limits are tested severely as those close to him are put in danger. But just as one bad day seemingly comes to an end with the help and friendship of Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova), Jeremiah is approached by Ra’s Al Ghul (Alexander Siddig) to form an alliance and have other thoughts. Bruce’s bad day continues back at Wayne Manor and Selina is shot by Jeremiah. As Alfred subdues Jeremiah, Bruce frantically tries to keep Selina alive.
