We sit down with Erika Myers, the Principal of Transportation Electrification at the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA). Erika's team works on research focused primarily on utility-run managed charging program designs, distribution planning for electric vehicles, utility rates, tariffs, incentives, and EV customer education. She works with everyone from utilities, to non-profits, to auto OEMs and even regulators to build awareness around how all of these technologies function, along with what they can unlock when used together. In today’s episode we discuss the impact of COVID on Electric Vehicles, the current state of EV fast charging, the large opportunity that Vehicle to grid technology holds and how electric vehicle makers can better engage female car buyers.
