There is no secret our bodies change as we age…
Physical activities that used to be a “piece of cake” may now seem to be more of a challenge.
But there are plenty of less obvious changes that you may not be aware of that lurk under the surface waiting for you to take one wrong step to come out.
The good news is overwhelming amounts of research tells us that as long as we stay active and keep fit we can remain healthy, happy and functional for many decades to come regardless of our age.
However, you cannot treat a body that passed the “40” mark the same way you treat a 20 year old. And the further you get past 40 the more the body is affected by these changes.
With that in mind there are some considerations for you to take into account when exercising so that first of all you stay safe on our fitness journey, and second get the maximum results for your effort.
