Deborah Heere stopte op haar 14e met school en vertrok naar Kreta. Op haar 18e kwam zij terug naar Nederland. Zonder diploma’s. Wat haar - bij het opstellen van haar cv - altijd een gevoel van schaamte gaf. Bij de Omgevingsdienst Gooi en Vechtstreek (OFGV) werd zij aangenomen als officemanager. Haar werkgever zorgde ervoor dat ze diploma’s ging halen. En nu werkt ze er als HRM adviseur.
