  2. Selflessness is a matter of Identity . (Phil 2:7)
  3. Selflessness shows up in Action . (Phil 2:8)
  4. Selflessness leads to Glory . (Phil 2:9-11)

    Matthew 23:12 - Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

    Luke 14:11 - For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

    Luke 18:14 - For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.

    1 Peter 5:6 - Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,

    James 4:10 - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
