Our weight and appearance comes up a lot with my male and female clients as they want to start dating after divorce. On this episode, I explain why research shows that most diets do not work and why working with a coach or Cognitive Behavioral therapist would be extremely beneficial for your weight loss goals or to feel better about your appearance. I explain why what we think about our weight or appearance directly affects how we feel and therefore what we do and don't do, that then perpetuates the same unsatisfactory or negative thoughts about ourselves. I give several examples of these thoughts and how it affects us and what we can do to get the results that we want or feel the way we want and deserve to feel.
