Since the start of the pandemic, more and more families have considered packing it all up and moving abroad. Today we have part 2 of our discussion with Jennifer Stevens from the blog Adventurous Appetite, an American international school teacher who did just that and has now lived all over the world. Wondering what healthcare is like in other countries? What her tips are for moving abroad with kids? And whether she’d ever move home? Keep listening to find out all that and more. And if you missed it, catch Part 1 in Episode 40 first!
Jennifer Stevens is the voice behind the blog Adventurous Appetite, and she is an American who has now lived and thrived in four new countries. She’s a native Floridian who left the Sunshine State in 2009 to travel the world as an international school teacher. She’s since lived in Seoul, Bogota, Shanghai, and now Romania, where she created the American International School of Bucharest’s journalism program and student newspaper, The Bite. When she’s not teaching, Jennifer is likely writing, taking pictures, cooking, eating, or spending time with her husband and rescue dog.
