You guys are in for a treat today. That is because I have a special guest Dr. Andrew Hopkins. he was episode #30. We will be discussing the value in fitness for a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Hopkins has a bachelors in Human Biology with a minor in biochemistry

He is the graduate of the National university of health sciences

His passion is nutrition and helping people live a healthy life.

Dr Hopkins — or “Doctor Andy,” as we all call him — is from Southern New Jersey. He attended Stockton College, and while pursuing his Bachelors in Human Biology with a minor in Biochemistry, he developed ulcerative colitis. While in chiropractic school at the National University of Health Sciences, he did the traditional treatments like prednisone and medication. However, after graduation in 2000, he lost all his hair and developed psoriatic cirrhiosis that abraded his hands and feet badly. His doctors kept telling him that it wasn’t about nutrition, but he thought, “Maybe I should find out for myself.” Through workshops and self-directed research, he learned enough about nutrition to get his autoimmune conditions under control. That gave him a passion for health through nutrition, so he pursued it at the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy, graduating as a Clinical Nutritionist in 2004.
