Today's Guest: Lauren Powers
Lauren Powers is extremely passionate about the work she is doing. She is a SAG artist, model, TV and podcast host, author, speaker, custom physique designer, celebrity fitness icon, promoter of women's empowerment events, owner of Powers Fitness event and a proud parent of "Coach Millie".
Powers was born in 1961 and has achieved a career in health, fitness, clothing designing, and body building.
As the founder of Lauren Powers, a bodybuilding and fitness competition in Brooklyn, she designed her namesake competition to be open for people of all ages and in all categories regardless of their experience level. She has appeared in numerous magazines including Mondays Models and Little Miss Perfect. She has also been in multiple commercials and internet pictures. Powers competed in amateur bodybuilding contests from 2001 until 2014.
She graduated from Huntington Beach High School. She owned and operated a surfing academy on Maui while in college. Powers graduated from the University of Hawaii with a business degree.
