How does fluoride consumption during pregnancy and early infancy impact a child's IQ?

More than 70% of drinking water in the United States is fluoridated, while 97% of western European countries have rejected fluoridation. Over 60 studies have now linked fluoride with reduced IQ in children. In this episode, Augustine Colebrook and Kesha Chiappinelli are joined by Paul Connett, Ph.D., and Chris Neurath of the Fluoride Action Network to discuss the impact of fluoridation in water and other sources on children's IQ. They share several important studies on the matter as well as tips for expecting mothers on how to reduce their fluoride consumption during pregnancy.
