Drew shares a story about launching a new contemporary service at a church and the resistance they faced.
Was the resistance to a new service strong? "Somebody had broken into my office and on my whiteboard right in front of my desk written LEAVE. You're the devil, leave."
So did a lot of good come from it? Absolutely. Do I think time under tension grew my leadership in that season? I would argue it made me more jaded.
Time under tension equals growth is accurate, iff it's a healthy amount of tension.
