Are you living with the pain of a broken heart?
Have you been dealing with the end of a relationship that you didn't want to finish?
Does your broken heart cause you to find life a struggle to live?
In the latest episode of ' I Have Issues,' I discuss the issue of heartbreak.
A broken heart can happen to any of us and for lots of different reasons.
We can suffer from heartbreak when we are adjusting to a difficult life-event such as the end of a relationship, someone we love dying or when your children leave home.
Heartbreak can make life hard to live as everyday we feel overwhelmed by negative emotions.
Heartbreak can cause mental health problems such as depression and anxiety.
In this episode I explain what happens in our body and brain when we experience heartbreak. Why does it hurt so badly?
I talk about why heartbreak happens and what you can do should this happen to you or someone you care about.
As ever, this podcast is about hope and I discuss ways that you can heal from the pain of heartbreak.

I'm a London based adolescent and adult chartered psychologist.
