Simon Sinek is known for having one of the most watched TED Talks in the history of that platform. Have you seen it? If so - then you’ve probably heard this quote before.
He’s right.
And today on the podcast, I want to take a closer look at what that even means.
Your why is the belief that you hold about your work, your business and how it shows up in the world. It’s what drives you on a deep, personal level, and probably always has 🤔.
In fact, being crystal clear about the purpose of your practice, your true reason for creating a business to start with, is one of the most important factors in long term success.
And yet - very few businesses can clearly articulate why they do what they do.
I bet you can tell me exactly what you do - but can you tell me why you do it? Can you put that into words?
(Thinking it’s about having more money or freedom? That’s not what I’m talking about here...)
Today on the podcast, I’ll share some of my own journey around this concept, because it IS a journey. Sometimes it takes a while to get really clear, to figure this out, to really tap into your core purpose. But once you have that, when you know it in your bones, everything else gets easier.
