This episode is one that's really close to my heart. I sit down with Sarah Brook, the CEO and founder of the Sparkle Foundation. A charity dedicated to uplifting the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in Malawi, Africa.

Sarah shares her inspiring and courageous ordeal, when she decided to travel to Africa at age 18, to experience the world, fell gravely ill and would have surely died had it not been for the priority treatment she received because of the color of her skin. This pivotal moment reshaped her understanding of inequality and ignited a deep resolve to contribute to a fairer world.

Sarah shares her experiences of running a charity organisation. How she feels it’s important to live amongst and understand the people. To meet them at their level, understand their needs and collaborate to have the greatest impact.

Recognized for her impactful work and leadership, Sarah stands as a beacon of hope and action in the Charity Sector both in the UK and the United Arab Emirates.

What’s inspiring, is by speaking openly about her experiences and the insights she's gained, Sarah Brook bridges connections with a broader audience, rallying support for her cause, not just through financial donations, but by encouraging the community to give something of their talents and experience to support the cause.

This demonstrates the power of sharing our stories and experiences to bring about change.

This is one of those conversations that remind us how powerful one person's vision can be, and how we can all play a part in making the world a better place. Sarah Brook, you're an inspiration!
